ABOUT
Born in Wayne, New Jersey, vocalist Luigi Boccia was raised in a small town called Serino in the Southern Italian region of Campania. There he developed a passion for music, singing, and learning in his early childhood.
He graduated from Liceo Classico and earned a Master’s Degree in Musicology. He now lives in Portland, Oregon and can often be seen performing at various venues around the city.

45th Parallel Universe is a Portland chamber music collective founded in 2009 by Oregon Symphony violinist Gregory Ewer. The group was created to give Oregon Symphony musicians and audiences an intimate and creative outlet away from the traditional symphony hall experience. As a musician-managed nonprofit, 45th brings together top Pacific Northwest musicians to perform standard and contemporary classical works in relaxed and unconventional venues across the city.
