ABOUT

Ring in the Christmas season with Trinity Music for a festive night of choral music and seasonal carols, including the world premiere of Margaret Burk’s This Holy Hour: A Sequence of Carols for Christmas! This ten-movement work for harp and chorus features both traditional carols and brand-new poetry, including a new carol by world-renowned poet and lyricist Charles Anthony Silvestri.

Joined by harpist Kate Perak and percussionist Will Reno, members of the Trinity Choir, Cathedral Schola, and Choir School will offer traditional holiday favorites by Sir David Willcocks, Michael Praetorius, and Harold Darke in addition to exciting music by living composers Rosephanye Powell, Cecilia McDowall, Will Todd, and Michael Engelhardt, plus some opportunities to sing along with a few favorite Christmas carols!
