April 25, 2024: Guest host Brandi Parisi welcomes the ISing Choir, plus baritone Ben Tissell and pianist James Pick to the Roger O. Doyle performance studio.
Hear 20 singers from the ISing Choir accompanied by piano and cajón. Plus, Ben Tissell and James Pick will share an exclusive sneak peek of their upcoming recital called “There and Back Again,” featuring works by British composer Donald Swann, text from Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings, and music by Vaughan Williams.

Since its founding in 2005, ISing has worked to share high-quality music to make the community better. They believe that music can make the world a better place, and put that into practice by raising money for nonprofit organizations in Beaverton, Washington County, and the greater Portland area.

Based in Portland, OR, Ben Tissell performs on stage and screen throughout the Northwest and beyond. He has worked recently for such theatre companies as Portland Center Stage at the Armory, Third Rail Repertory, Portland Playhouse, Broadway Rose Theatre and many others. He has done print, film and voiceover work for LG, Amazon, Portland Center Stage, and others. Ben is a member of the Actor’s Equity Association and is represented by Mitchell Artist Management.
