Abbey Bach Festival

Situated on a hilltop in the mid-Willamette Valley, the Abbey Bach Festival is a unique opportunity to listen to world-renowned musicians while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of Mount Angel Abbey, a Benedictine monastery founded in 1882. Between evening concerts in the Abbey church and the Damian Center, enjoy a picnic buffet supper while taking in beautiful vistas from the surrounding countryside.

Wednesday, July 29

– 8 pm | Damian Center – Alon Goldstein, Artistic Director, piano

Thursday, July 30
– 6 pm | Abbey church – Luiz Fernando Venturelli, cello
– 8 pm | Damian Center – Cerus Quartet, Saxophone Quartet

Friday, July 31
– 6 pm | Abbey church – Paul Klemme, organ
– 8 pm | Damian Center – Galvin Cello Quartet, cello

Saturday, August 1
– 10:30 am | Damian Center – Bach for Kids
A short concert for children. Afterwards, meet the musicians!

In the morning on Saturday, July 26, there will be a children’s concert featuring Alon Goldstein and Bach Festival performers where children can meet and talk with the musicians over snacks after a short concert.
