Celebrate the beauty and warmth of the holiday season with an evening of beloved and contemporary choral music. At the heart of the program is Sarah Quartel’s A Winter Day, a luminous work that sets texts by Sara Teasdale, Lucy Maud Montgomery, and other writers to evoke the quiet wonder, crisp beauty, and peaceful stillness of winter.
As part of our ongoing collaboration with Cascadia Composers and the National Association of Composers USA, we will also premiere three new seasonal works by contemporary American composers, alongside sacred and secular selections that reflect the spirit of light, hope, and renewal.
