Chatter PDX : LateWORKS

The last LateWORKS of 2026, the series closes out the year with our biggest LateWORKS program yet. Three works for wind octet + cello bring special guest soloist Laura Metcalf and Oregon Symphony’s Trevor Fitzpatrick at the forefront of Chatter PDX’s resident wind octet, including for the world premiere of a new work by Chatter PDX composer-in-residence Akshaya Tucker. The evening also features two short world premieres by fellow composer-in-residence Kimberly Osberg, alongside works by James Shields and John Zorn. Don’t miss this incredible evening!

About the Series: Chatter LateWORKS is a late-night series that explores modern, experimental, and avant-garde trends within contemporary classical music. Hear local composers alongside rarely heard masters from the past 75 years in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere inspired by our Sunday morning performances. Doors open at 8pm, show at 9pm.
