The Takács Quartet, now entering its fiftieth season, is renowned for the vitality of its interpretations. Clearly an audience favorite, the Takács Quartet has appeared on our stage more than any other ensemble in FOCM’s history — but until now, never with a bandoneon player! Julien Labro joins the Takács Quartet on Monday for an innovative program for string quartet and bandoneon, while Tuesday’s program will feature only string quartets.
