Event Details
Located within Washington Park, the International Rose Test Garden is the oldest continuously operated public rose test garden in the United States. Established in 1917, the garden features more than 10,000 rose bushes representing over 600 varieties, with sweeping views across Portland and toward Mount Hood.
The IN A LANDSCAPE concert takes place in the terraced Rose Garden Amphitheater, shaded by mature Douglas firs. Listeners are welcome to settle into the terraces or move quietly through the surrounding garden paths during the performance.
This concert is presented in partnership with Trust for Public Land, a national nonprofit working to connect people to the outdoors and protect public land for public use. From iconic landscapes like the Columbia River Gorge to neighborhood parks and schoolyards, TPL works with communities across Oregon to create and care for places where people can gather, play, and experience nature.
This event takes place on the ancestral homeland of the Multnomah, Clackamas, Cowlitz, Kathlamet, Wasco, Chinook, Tualatin, Molalla, and Kalapuya peoples.
