Artists at NW Marine Art Works are opening their studio doors on Dec. 6 and 7 for the annual Open Studios and Holiday Market.
With more than 70 local artists and artisans participating, guests can visit the studios where art is created, talk with artists, watch demos and shop directly from makers this holiday season.
Open Studios is about letting people see where the work is made. Having live music in the building makes it feel like a small festival — you can grab a drink, listen to a set, and then turn a corner into a studio you’ve never seen before. And the event is free and open to the public.
This year’s music lineup features a mix of acoustic sets, jazz, blues, experimental strings and retro vinyl — creating a soundtrack for wandering the building and discovering new artists.
