This program proudly celebrates the remarkable accomplishments and creative contributions of women composers, poets, and performers throughout history, achieved with grit and determination against all odds. Performed will be works by women spanning the centuries alongside the world premiere of Sister Among Sisters, a new work written for IM by our very own cofounding artistic director and conductor, Anna Song, featuring poetry by Ashland-based artist and poet Tiziana DellaRovere.

CAE closes its 54th season with one of the most moving and beloved works of choral music ever written – Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem. Fauré’s contemplative setting will be especially poignant in the beautiful and acoustically-rich confines of St. Philip Neri. The concerts will also feature additional inspiring works by Fauré, Allegri and others that will leave the soul refreshed and uplifted.
Please join us for a wine-tasting fundraiser and reception in Carvlin Hall on the St. Philip Neri campus after the Saturday concert.
