“The Score,” All Classical Radio’s nationally syndicated program that celebrates film music with inspiring and informative one-hour shows, is having a moment. Now on the cusp of its 18th year, weekly episodes of “The Score” are carried by 60 stations and reach an estimated 1 million listeners – not counting those online worldwide. Some shows are dedicated to the music of specific composers, such as Terrance Blanchard and James Newton Howard.
