My enthusiasm for All Classical Portland’s mission stems from my background in choral and vocal performance. In 2007 I attained a BA from Reed College in music history, where I wrote my thesis on the songs of Gustav Mahler and Hugo Wolf. After brief stints at Friends of Chamber Music and the Portland International Piano Festival, I joined All Classical Portland in 2008.
In spring 2018 I completed an Executive Masters’ in Public Administration from the University of Washington. I am also a recent graduate of the Regional Arts & Culture Council’s Art of Leadership Program and I chair the Portland Symphonic Choir’s Board of Directors.
Nowadays I still make music a bit on the side, primarily as a singer in PSC. When not working or practicing, I enjoy food and wine, baking, karaoke, and hearing live music around town. Fall 2018 will mark my 10-year anniversary at All Classical Portland, and I couldn’t be more thrilled to have landed here!
