Event Details

The Oregon Mandolin Orchestra invites you to join a spring celebration with a musical program that features a luscious array of pieces showcasing the addition of guitars to the OMO ensemble.

OMO Music Director Christian McKee has crafted a globe-trotting program that ranges from somber music by Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg to Japanese children’s songs, three selections from a suite by a modern Classical Mandolin Society of America composer and a playful piece from the French ballet often featured in films and cartoons.

The OMO Chamber Ensemble will perform the concert’s opening set, giving voice to a range of composers, countries and eras.
