January 11, 2024: Host Christa Wessel welcomes 45th Parallel Universe and cellist Hamilton Cheifetz with pianist Julia Lee to the Roger O. Doyle performance studio.
45th Parallel Universe’s pianist Maria Garcia, violinist Ron Blessinger, and clarinetist Lisa Lipton will share a preview of their upcoming performance featuring the words and music of Alex Ross. Plus, cellist Hamilton Cheifetz and pianist Julia Lee will join us to perform music by Enrique Granados, John Ireland, and more.
ABOUT
Acclaimed author and music writer Alex Ross joins the virtuosos of 45th Parallel for an evening of words and music, a unique concert experience that will entertain, edify, enlighten, and exhilarate! On January 26, 2024, at 7:00 PM at the Patricia Reser Center for the Arts, Alex will read from his books and essays, providing compelling context to the music that 45th Parallel then performs.
