It’s ICAN Storytime with Adam Eccleston!

This Sunday, March 21 on the International Children’s Arts Network (ICAN), it’s story time with All Classical Portland’s Artist in Residence Adam Eccleston! Adam will read Drum Dream Girl: How One Girl’s Courage Changed Music by Margarita Engle. The poetic prose tells the tale of Millo Castro Zaldarriaga, a Chinese-African-Cuban girl who broke Cuba’s tradition against female drummers. Drum Dream Girl tells an inspiring true story for dreamers everywhere. Adam Eccleston not only narrates but also performs Drume Negrita arranged for four flutes.
