NATIONAL POETRY MONTH #welovethispoetry
April is National Poetry Month! All Classical Portland and the International Children’s Arts Network celebrate the art of written and spoken poetry year-round, and in honor of National Poetry Month, we’ll be working in some extra features into our programming.
Suzanne Nance will infuse poetry into the musical and culinary flavors of Sunday Brunch, and Andrea Murray’s Club Mod will include contemporary poetic influences all month long. We’ll share some of our favorite music inspired by poetry on the air and on social media, and will bring you features on All Classical Portland’s Arts Blog about the enduring and inspirational connection between the language of music and the art of poetry. We hope you will celebrate with us by sharing your own written or recorded poems on social media with the hashtag #welovethispoetry
